City of Rancho Cucamonga
The City of Rancho Cucamonga contracted with NAM to provided end to end solar services, resulting in the evaluation of 9 potential sites with a total of 1.83 MW generating capacity and an estimated $4.5 million construction cost. NAM worked closely with the City to conduct a thorough site analysis, develop a procurement strategy, write Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, support the procurement process, evaluate proposals, and support contract negotiations. NAM also provided design and construction period services, while working with Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility (RCMU) to satisfy their net metering requirements and capture the unique characteristics of the commercial tariff. Due to NAM’s ability to navigate the complexities of the initial sports facility project, the City contracted NAM to conduct additional feasibility studies at its other sites, including several parks and civic buildings.
